Leveraging Modelica models to mitigate ever-changing environmental risks in data centers

Data centers provide key infrastructure for many industries, and their management is becoming increasingly complex as server technology advances at pace. To address these challenges, Meta has developed a digital twin approach based on physics-based modeling in Modelica.

In this presentation, we will discuss why we built the digital twin, how we leveraged Modelica to build it, what’s the current critical use cases and what future developments we have planned with Modelon. Our digital twin approach can be applied to other industries and infrastructure, and we look forward to discussing its potential applications and co-simulation possibilities with other companies.
