Modelon will present at the annual conference Dynamics and Design Conference 2021 (D&D2021) hosted by the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME).
This 5-day conference, from September 13th to 17th, will be held online under the COVID-19 preventive measurements. Of the theme “Return to a society of coexistence and co-prosperity”, more than 250 research presentations will be given on each theme of the organized sessions related to the fields of machine dynamics, and measurement and control.
To attend D&D2021, registration is required by August 27, 2021.
See the session information.

Presented by Rui GAO, Managing Director, East Asia | Modelon K.K.
Day 4: September 16th (Thu) | 09:00-10:20 | OS8-2, 1D Modeling Session
Gearbox modeling with mixed continuous and discrete events has been studied for long time. The gearbox power loss depends on the angular velocity and load. In this report, the LossyGear model of the Modelica standard library was constructed with a new configuration from the viewpoint of system engineering utilizing the synchronous feature of Modelica Standard Library 4.0 (MSL4.0). The proposed method can also be regarded as a case study for general cyber-physical modeling approach.
Key Words : Gearbox, Modelica, Synchronous, System Engineering, State Machine
