E.ON energy grant awarded to Modelon students
For thesis involving Dymola in CO2 energy applications
The E.ON energy grant for 2012 is awarded to Modelon thesis students Stefanía Ósk Gardarsdottir and Sóley Emilsdottir from Chalmers University of Technology for their thesis on “Transient behaviour of post-combustion CO2 capture with MEA in coal fired power plants“.
The thesis work is based on models using Dymola in combination with Modelica libraries from Modelon.
This grant is awarded for the most interesting and innovative thesis in Energy applications to promote interest in energy technology and sustainable development.
