Introduction
Wind power is at the moment in a globally expansive phase with different kinds of technical solutions and suppliers. In most solutions power electronics is incorporated to smaller or larger extent. Most wind power plants currently operate with a horizontal axis turbine, however vertical axes turbines is an interesting future alternative. Vertical plants have been erected and are now being tested in Sweden.
