On April 12th -13th, Modelon participated in the largest automotive event in Northern Europe, the Vehicle Electronics and Connected Services conference. Held in Gothenburg, Sweden, over 900 automotive experts from multiple OEMs were in attendance to discuss this year’s theme “Autonomous, Electrified and Connected”.
With this theme in mind, Modelon experts brought our vehicle and electrification capabilities to light. Modelon’s Vehicle Dynamics Library and electrification capabilities offer automotive OEMs quantifiable benefits that enable the advancement of electric vehicle systems.
Specifically, Modelon’s Vehicle Dynamics Library provides a comprehensive set of predefined components which allow customers to model a wide variety of vehicles, from passenger cars to heavy trucks, and enable true multi-body, multi-domain simulation with real-time performance. We’re also bringing to market advanced electrification simulation capabilities that integrate seamlessly with our automotive and thermal solutions libraries and enable customers to expand from modeling conventional vehicle systems to hybrid and all-electric vehicles. Our focus is on allowing customers to optimize, predict efficiency and performance, develop controls, and ensure the quality of subsystems to full vehicle systems – making it easier to bring state-of-the-art electric vehicle designs to the market faster.
