Visit our booth and attend our hands-on training on model testing

Meet Modelon at the 2017 North America Modelica Users’ Group Meeting on August 3rd and 4th at the SLAC Stanford Linear Accelerator Lab in Menlo Park, California. This year’s topics will focus on Modelica for physical system modeling and the Functional Mockup Interface (FMI) for model exchange and co-simulation.

Modelon Tutorial

Modelon expert, John Batteh, will give a hands-on tutorial, “Let’s Talk Testing: Practical Use Cases in an Open Standards, Multi-Platform Ecosystem”. This tutorial will focus on the development and execution of a test suite using Modelica models and Modelon’s Model Testing Toolkit. Attendees will try different workflows for creating the test suite, including creating a test suite from scratch and leveraging existing simulatable models in libraries to automate the test suite creation process. The tutorial will demonstrate testing in both native execution format and as FMUs across multiple platforms and practical use cases for requirements testing and testing of model variants for accuracy and performance.

No background knowledge of testing is required, and we will provide the testing tools, Modelica models, and detailed instructions for creating and executing the test suite.  Users are also encouraged to bring their own Modelica models and Modelica tools to use for the testing.

Modelon is a proud Gold Sponsor and will be exhibiting.  Stop by our booth to learn about Modelon’s suite of Modelica and FMI solutions.
