Announced during our last <a href=\"https:\/\/modelon.com\/ja\/webinar-advancing-vehicle-electrification-with-system-simulation\/\">webinar<\/a>, this release includes new Rimac branded battery components &#8211; essential for modeling electrifed battery systems.<\/p>\n<p>New additions include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A detailed and validated model of a Rimac R&amp;D battery cell and a battery cell validation experiment.<\/li>\n<li>An example of a Rimac R&amp;D battery pack module in an experiment with the new BatteryCycler.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With these additions users can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate a high-fidelity model of an actual battery cell that can be used in any simulation model.<\/li>\n<li>Perform battery testing where it is important to stay within specific limits (e.g. voltage, temperature, and state-of-charge). This is especially valuable for testing battery packs that do not have a built-in control of limits \u2013 for example, during early development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u96fb\u52d5\u5316\u30e9\u30a4\u30d6\u30e9\u30ea\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u306f\u3053\u3061\u3089\u30ea\u30ea\u30fc\u30b9\u30ce\u30fc\u30c8\u30c7\u30e2\u3092\u898b\u308b<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #e36d00;\">Release Component Details<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Rimac 21700 R&amp;D Battery Cell Package<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">This package contains a model of the voltage, impedance, capacity and thermal dynamics of the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Rimac<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">R&amp;D 21700 battery cell<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. All models have been parameterized based on lab measurements performed by<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Rimac<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, including<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">v<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">oltage<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and impedance characterization, calorimetric and thermal conductivity measurements, chemical analysis and cell disassembly.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This package also includes a battery cell validation experiment (<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">CellTest<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">) where electrical and thermal validation of the models have been performed based on separate datasets provided by\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Rimac<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5815 size-600\" src=\"https:\/\/modelon.com\/ja\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/06\/RimacCellTest_HighRes.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"415\" \/><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><span class=\"TextRun Highlight SCXW92400864 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml_lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW92400864 BCX0\">Modelon<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun Highlight SCXW92400864 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml_lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW92400864 BCX0\"> <a style=\"color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/modelon.com\/ja\/library\/electrification-library\/\">Electrification Library<\/a> is a multi-physics Modelica library for the design, analysis, verification and control of electrified systems. The library is suitable for a wide variety of electrification applications including ground vehicles, aircraft, personal mobility, auxiliary power electric storage systems, and other complex engineered systems.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW92400864 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Rimac R&amp;D Battery Pack Module<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW59095484 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml_lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW59095484 BCX0\">This battery module uses the\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW59095484 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml_lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW59095484 BCX0\">Rimac<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW59095484 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml_lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW59095484 BCX0\">\u00a0R&amp;D 21700 battery cell, with 24 cells in series and 10 in parallel for a total of 240 cells.
