<\/a><\/h4>\nLund Sweden\u2013 March 9, 2017.<\/b>\u00a0 Modelon, the premier provider of Modelica solutions for Model Based Systems Design, is proud to announce that Dr. Hilding Elmqvist, the father of the Modelica\u00ae open standard and the creator of the simulation tool Dymola\u00ae, is joining Modelon as a Technical Fellow on a part-time basis. Dr. Elmqvist has been part of Modelon\u2019s success story since the start, as a co-founder of the company, and as a board member. With his retirement from other engagements Dr. Elmqvist is now taking an active leadership role in Modelon product R&D. In this role, he will further strengthen Modelon\u2019s position as fore-runners of systems modeling and simulation software.<\/p>\n
